Before I actually talk about the book, I have to put this out there. I absolutely ADORE this cover. It's so pretty and breathtaking. Sigh.
This book is full of twists and turns, right from the start. I did not see that opening scene coming O.O I also liked that both Nathan's and Maryah's POVs were included. Nathan's innner struggle to accept that the love his his lives doesn't remember those lives, or even who he is. So he ends up making things worse as he acts out in anger against her, and she despises him now.
I loved all the Kindrily members, including Dakota, even though he's not an actual member. Harmony struggles because her mate is missing, captured by the enemy. The whole "family" is so close, it's wonderful. They will do anything to protect each other.
I generally don't like reincarnation books because they get too confusing for me, but I have to say, Grasping at Eternity is a wonderful book for anyone to read, whether you like readina bout reincarnation or not!

Maryah is struggling to develop her powers, but she can't seem to control them. She knows that if she can master them, she can save Gregory. All she has to do is keep trying. But that's easier said than done. She works hours a day trying to develop her powers, make them stronger but nothing seems to work.
Harmony is desperately searching for her mate, Gregory, who has been captured by the enemy. She also feels like no one in the Kindrily knows how she feels anymore, because Nathan has been reunited with his mate. But in their conversations, you can see that Nathan still feels distance between him and Maryah. Yes, he loves her, but she's also not Mary, the person she was in her past lives.
The Kindrily is strong as ever. I love how Dakota becomes a member!!! He's adorable :)
Like the first book, there were so many unexpected twists it kept me on my toes. There were also several moments that made me laugh or say "awww."
Karen is also always looking out for her readers. She kindly leave a note before the last three chapters saying that if you don't like cliffhangers stop here.But I like to torture myself, so I kept reading and OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! I need Fighting for Infinity RIGHT NOW!!!!!
